We offer a complete service. Our aim is to ensure that your frames and trusses are right first time. We do this by having a system in place that allows us to track every project from initial enquiry, through production to delivery and beyond.

The system has been developed with our years of experience, teamed up with some of the most advanced technology (and trained staff) in the country. We take our commitment to our customers seriously.

Quotation
The process begins in our estimation department that provide quotations and advice to builders, merchants and architects. Our proposals are detailed to ensure that all aspects are considered and we do not have to come back and charge for 'extras' we 'forgot' to include in the proposal. Our pricing system is based on high quality, accurately made, delivered to site frames and roof trusses. We don't have standard designs that we adapt to your project.

Drawing
Each project is drawn up using our computer aid eddesign systems. This allows us to specify the correct timbers for the project and ensure that the stress calculations for the roof or frames are within the building industry standards.

Our investment in technology and training has allowed us to become a leading supplier of frames and trusses in New Zealand. We don't just chalk out each frame on the floor of a shed and cut timber to fit. We have a state of the art process that is constantly being adjusted to ensure we offer the highest quality products and services to our customers.

Detailing
The next stage of the process is to prepare the design for production. Our Detailers ensure that the trusses or frames are not only accurate, but are also produced and set up in the most effective way. We label every part in a design and send to site a detailed set of drawings to aid with assembly. No other company in the country offers the high quality support and help that Garry Raven Frame & Truss are able to offer as a result of our years of service within the building industry.

Production
Once the plans have been finalised our computerised production facility takes over. We have two 'state of the art' computer controlled timber saws that ensure every cut is right first time. Minimising wasted material means that we are able to keep a control on costs.

Frames and Trusses are then assembled in our precision assembly area to ensure accuracy and consistency. Each project is checked throughout the manufacturing process to maintain our high standards of quality.

All assembled frames and trusses are marked up in alignment with our detailed plans, giving easy recognition on site. The last thing you need after lifting a roof truss up to the second floor is to discover it is the wrong one. We al so manufacture flitch and ganglam beams, and can supply hyspan, prolam, and hyne beams

Delivery
Once the order is ready for dispatch (following a final inspection), the frames and trusses are loaded and delivered. Using our knowledge of construction the frames and trusses are loaded onto the stack in the order you will need them on site, this prevents double handling, reduces 'on site' moving and prevents the wrong part being used in the wrong place.

We supply a complete set of drawings and detailing information with the delivery, ensuring everything runs smoothly and to plan.

Each of our detailed drawings contains contact information for the Garry Raven Frame & Truss staff who were involved in the processing of your order, that way you are able to contact the right person quickly and easily.

We retain a copy of all plans and drawings in hard copy at our manufacturing plant so we can refer to them as required.
